Session preview · not scheduled

Global South Climate Exchange

A demonstration agenda for comparing local climate questions without treating different places as interchangeable. Explore how evidence, access and community priorities can shape a useful exchange.

A proposed conversation

The session, in outline.

Session preview · not scheduled. Demonstration agenda only. No date, confirmed speakers, partner organizations, registration, recording or operational event is represented. Agenda times are proposed elapsed minutes, not a calendar schedule.
0–15 min

Set the terms

Proposed opening: explain the difference between lived accounts, sourced evidence and fictional examples. Agree that nobody must disclose personal experiences or identifying details.

15–35 min

Start with a shared question

Use the demo's city heat guide to examine a question such as access to shade. Identify which details would need local evidence before comparing places.

35–60 min

Test an action idea

Explore a hypothetical request for a shaded waiting area. Discuss access, land responsibility, maintenance, worker needs and the limits of volunteer action.

60–80 min

Make room for difference

Consider what would change across languages, housing conditions, climates and public-service systems. Draft questions rather than assuming that one solution travels unchanged.

80–90 min

Leave with a next step

Write one evidence question, one possible public-service request and one issue that remains unresolved. No personal data submission is part of this preview.
