Chosen carefully. Listed honestly.
We find vintage Swiss and Japanese watches one at a time, check every one by hand, film it in hand and send it to collectors all over the world.
One pair of hands picks every watch.
There’s no warehouse and no buying team. Every watch on this site was chosen by the same person, the one who answers your messages, checks the fit on your wrist size and packs the box.
Three or four short paragraphs from him. Questions to ask:
- How did it start? The first watch he bought or sold.
- Why vintage, and why Swiss and Japanese pieces?
- What does he look for when he picks a watch, and what makes him walk away?
- A favourite piece that passed through his hands.
How a watch gets here
Most watches we look at never make it to the site.
- FoundSourced one at a time. Original dials, proper cases and movements true to their era.
- Opened and checkedDial, hands, crown, case and calibre are checked for originality. Redials and over-polished cases are turned down.
- TimedTimekeeping is tested before listing. Mechanical watches can vary by a minute or two a day, which is normal for vintage.
- Filmed in handEvery piece is photographed and filmed as it is. No renders, no borrowed photos.
- Packed and shippedPacked with care and sent worldwide with FedEx or UPS, usually in 8–15 days.
What we turn down.
Redialled · Over-polished · Wrong crown · Wrong calibre · Aftermarket glass · Service hands
If something about a watch isn’t original, the listing says so. If we can’t say it honestly, we don’t list it.
“This is the last one,” every collector says. Then another catches the light.
That’s why it’s called Just Another Watch.
